AN OPEN CHALLENGE TO THE DEMOCRATIC PARTY

If You Are Truly the Party of the People......

You will hereby abandon your hopeless mission of repealing Bush's so-called "Tax Cuts for the Wealthy."

If such tax cuts are either NOT renewed or otherwise repealed, then we all will suffer the pain of a tax increase.

America is on the verge of economic recovery. Many of the jobs that your party claimed to be lost due to Bush's economic policies are being restored, thanks to new working capital being infused into the economy. Interest rates remain low. Inflation remains low, even with the recent increase in fuel costs.

When it comes to our economy we need to stay the course!

If you are trying to reduce thie so-called "crippling deficit," there are several ways you can go about doing this:

1. Cut Government Spending
2. Cut government programs that have nothing to do with the government's contitutional mandate to protect individual rights.
3. Allow the tax cuts to continue, thereby ensuring that, with business growth, the tax revenues will increase accordingly.
   

The Wealthy shoulder an inordinate percentage of tax liability in America. They contribute more than their fare share. You may despise big busniess with your rhetoric but you cannot conceal the fact that big business is by far the biggest contributor to tax revenues.

If you are interested in new jobs, then you will support growth in the economy caused by the tax cuts. When companies cannot produce to meet the demands of consumers they will have to hire more workers.

Since the economy is NOT the real issue, then, Democrats, it is incumbent upon you to find more crucial issues with which to oppose the current administration. Your party must do this NOW if you have any hope whatsoever of winning in November.

I'm NOT Drifting Away From My Stated Purpose!

Here's Why:

I originally said I was going to discuss the ramifications of how we seem to let others make our choices for us, and this site is here to challenge such thinking. Well, no better place than to surf the media on the Internet and dig up some good dirt, right? Because this sort of thing happens all around the world, and is the root cause of the world's troubles, and relates in one way, shape or form to the real discussion that is to take place here.

• Why is it that in the Construction Profession one computer-aided design program so dominates over all others?
• Why is it that in the World of Computers one operating environment dominates all others?

Now admit it, incredibly, there are similarities to the answers to the above questions, as well as the answers to why we can't thwart terrorism, why we pay high taxes, why we haven't seen a quality movie in years, why we want to turn off the news because much of it is FUD, FUD, and more FUD, etc.
